Your new role
Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will work with our specialised Transmission Overhead and Underground workers, decommissioning, constructing, maintaining, and operating the High Voltage overhead and underground transmission (33-132kV), and associated distribution assets in the Greater Sydney Area (typically Waterfall to the Hawksbury River).
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe delivery of overhead/underground transmission and distribution work
- Inspect Transmission assets, including, steel lattice towers, Steel/Concrete/Timber Poles
- Working on major and minor projects, involving multi-discipline workgroups
- Assisting in planning of future works
- Facilitating delivery of third-party contractor works
- Work collaboratively with other groups within Ausgrid

- A qualified (or willing to undertake training to become) an experienced Transmission Lineworker (33-132Kv) that wants to get the work done
- Looks for opportunities to improve the way we do our work
- Enjoys responding to unplanned events and is comfortable making good decisions under pressure
- Qualified Line Worker– Cert III in ESI Power Systems (Distribution or Transmission).
- Class MR drivers licence.
