Our Works Planning & Contract Delivery group is focused on delivering a safe and reliable electricity network and play a key role in building and maintaining Ausgrid’s network.
You will lead a team to manage contracts to support Ausgrid's field and planning teams in the safe and efficient delivery of Ausgrid's programs of work. Join our Works Planning & Contract Delivery team that will work with our field teams across the entire Ausgrid network area.
Your new role
Reporting to the Performance, Assurance and Contract Support Manager as the Senior Project Officer you will provide hands on management to a small team and have the contract management and supplier relationship responsibility for services that are utilised across Ausgrid field delivery teams.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Safe, efficient delivery of allocated work programs in line with achieving Business and Customer outcomes.
- Establish and maintain functional business relationships with external customers and other stakeholders and take action in line with business requirements.
- Effectively manage programs and contracts ensuring compliance to target/plan in regard to all metrics.

Energise us through your skills and qualifications in:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Class C Drivers Licence.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience of Industry requirements, relevant Australian and International Standards, Safe Work Practices, Regulations and Acts relevant to customer electrical installations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced stakeholder management experience.
Key software skills (desirable):
- Experience/proficient in the use of SAP.
- Experience/proficient in Microsoft Suite of tools including PowerBI.
