Our Safety Delivery & Operations group is focussed on delivering a safe and reliable electricity network 24/7 and play a major role in building and maintaining Ausgrid’s network.
You will be joining a team of 5 and a broader team of 9 that work closely together to support programs across Ausgrid with strategic and operational direction provided by line management.
The team have key goals to support the safe and efficient delivery of contracted services across Ausgrid with the direct accountability for supporting contract management functions and improvements across Ausgrid.

Your new role
Reporting to the Contract Delivery Planner, the Systems Control Officer will support the implementation and management of project and contract systems and processes to ensure their effective application in delivering programs of work.
The small, high performing team that you will be a part of work across multiple functions and support administration, system, and contractor management requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Maintain, administer and upgrade dedicated and generic project and contract management systems.
- Develop and maintain governance documentation around the use of systems and processes.
- Review and provide detailed responses to contractor queries.
- Train and assist users as well as audit, monitor, evaluate and report on use in order to improve system use.
- Support financial management, monitoring, reporting and governance of contracts and programs of work.

- Experience in actioning high volumes of administration tasks such as access requests, detailed user enquiries and data collation.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving complex issues and working collaboratively across multiple function groups is a must to perform this role.
- Skills in contract system management, reporting applications and document writing.
- Knowledge of project and contract management as well as commercial and financial systems and processes.
- Class C Drivers Licence.
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and systems including project and contract management related software and SAP.
- High level of understanding of scope of works with the ability to coordinate project resource demands and working knowledge of budget principles, statistics and graphical representation of statistics.
