Your new role

Reporting to the Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance and commissioning of primary, secondary, and communications equipment in distribution, zone and sub-transmission substations and networks to ensure the safety, reliability, sustainability, and affordability for our customers and network assets.

We are looking for someone who has:
- A thirst for knowledge and continual learning.

- Qualified in a relevant electrical trade.
- Holds a Class C drivers' licence.
- Holds a WH&S WorkCover – General Induction.
Further energise us through your additional skills and qualifications in:
- Advanced Trade Technician Course (or equivalent)
- Advanced Diploma of Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- ACMA Communications Cabling Licence
- Applicable HRW Licences (EWP, Crane, Dogging, etc.)
- Experience in High Voltage Operating/Permit applications.
- Class MR / HR Driver’s Licence
- Experience in commissioning and maintenance of Protection systems or industrial automation systems.
- Optical fibre splicing experience.
