We all want a future of energy we can be proud of. With us, you can.

As a Project Administrator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects through the development stage of their lifecycle. Working closely with a collaborative project team, you’ll coordinate meetings and workshops, prepare presentations and reports, and manage document control activities, including workflows, registers and version control ensuring all documentation is accurate, current and aligned with AusNet standards.

This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days remote), is based in Southbank, and sits within the Project Development – Transmission team, contributing to projects that help deliver a more reliable and sustainable energy future.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Organize and schedule project meetings, project workshops and governance activities.
  • Collect and analyse project data and information / updates, generating regular status reports and dashboards.
  • Coordinate the RFI (request for information) process, including logging RFIs, tracking actions and due dates, and issuing responses to relevant stakeholders while maintaining complete records in the document control system.
  • Manage document control portals, including document workflows, registers, version control, and the submission of project deliverables in accordance with project and company requirements.
  • Support SAP transactions and administration for the Project Development team.
  • Collect and analyse project data and information / updates, generating regular status reports and dashboards.

You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Demonstrated experience in project administration, team administration, or similar support roles within an engineering, utilities, construction, or infrastructure environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on advanced Excel skills and the proficient use of PowerPoint to create impactful presentations.
  • Proven capability in document control practices (document registers, version control, workflows/approvals, and records management). Experience with electronic document management systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience using SAP for procurement/financial administration tasks is desirable.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external parties.

The AusNet experience is all about…
