About the Role
As the Senior Estimator you will develop and provide quality cost estimates in accordance with company standards and within agreed delivery timeframe. You will work effectively with Engineering Solutions, Project Managers, Estimators, and other stakeholders to complete project cost estimates based on scope of works or itemised requests with accuracy, budget constraints, and project timeline. This role will also assist with EDPR, TRR and GAR submissions. The role will ensure that the true total cost outcomes of delivery are fed back into the business estimation tools.
This role will report to the Lead Estimator and the position can be based out from Malvern and/or Freshwater Place. We are open to discussing what suits best with the preferred applicant.

What you will deliver
- Review technical requirements on each detailed design project including project constraints and deliverables, seeking clarification where required and ensuring that requirements are coordinated with relevant teams
- Establish and maintain communications among all project and program stakeholders
- Manage and review the production of estimations required by the business from project initiation to close out
- Communicate the status of the estimations to the Design Lead Engineer and Project Manager
- Identify design innovations and cost optimisation as part of the business case approval and design processes
What we like about you
- Demonstrated local experience in civil, electrical, transmission and distribution industry favourable
- Self motivated and comfortable with working autonomously but also proven ability to work in a team environment
- Proven experience with estimating software (e.g. Expert Estimation, Candy)
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, mentor, empower and support team to achieve targets
- Demonstrated ability to create, build and grow relationships and business partnerships to build effective working relationships within the project team and external customers
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering highly favourable
