About the Role

As a Minor Works Program Lead at AusNet, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering our programs under the Distribution Operations and Maintenance Agreement (OMSA), ensuring they meet safety, budget, time, and quality standards. You will plan and schedule the annual works program, coordinate end-to-end processes, collaborate with design and surveying teams, provide stakeholder support, and manage program delivery.

In addition, you will build relationships, oversee compliance, and contribute to the development of new standards and technologies. Your 5 years of project delivery experience, commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills will be crucial in this role. This role will report to the Minor Works Manager and is based in Southbank, Victoria.

What you will deliver

• Plan the annual works program and schedule individual programs with Major Projects, Asset Management and strategic partners to achieve financial targets and resource planning objectives.
• Coordinating the end-to-end process of minor works programs, ensuring time, budget and quality meet our customer’s expectations and compliance standards.
• Provide general and technical support to resolve stakeholder enquiries efficiently.
• Delivery of company Initiated programs (Minor) through project coordination / management
• Develop and/or review scopes, detailed designs, installation scope of works, cost and delivery schedule and liaise with internal stakeholders & external stakeholders for program delivery.
• Govern program delivery and proactively manage risks and issues to ensure delivery to budget, scope and time

What we like about you

• Demonstrated experience in asset works project delivery; preferably in the utilities sector
• Experience defining and managing an asset works program
• Strong commercial or contract management experience with demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and proactively manage project delivery risk
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across various stakeholder interests
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence a range of stakeholders; including external project delivery partners.
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong customer focus
