About the Role
An exciting 12-month contract opportunity has arisen for a Contract Operations Officer. This role will see you provide critical support to the Distribution Electricity Contracts Team, including being the person assigned responsible for some minor non-strategic contracts and facilitating the work pipeline and/or work order and invoice validation/processing on other contracted services.
This role offers hybrid working arrangements and we are happy to discuss location options with the successful candidate.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including, but not limited to:
- Provide support to Contracts Manager, Contract Specialist, and Contract Officers for the Contracts Team to effectively manage assigned Distribution Electricity Contracts
- Assist with minor non-strategic contracts and administer key contract activities and obligations specific to each assigned contract including SLA and KPIs
- Play a lead role in the effective processing of invoices in a timely manner, including validation and payment, accruals
- Work with Senior Contract Specialists to remediate any contract or system data deficiency that hinders operational and/or contract performance reporting
- Assist the team to perform regular desk-based audits/checks on contracted services and transactional data
- Update work package templates, contractor meeting support and scheduling, procurement documentation processing
- Use SAP to update work orders and notifications
- Provide support and where required assist with complaints arising from contractor activity
- Manage interfaces between service providers, AusNet Services, customers, clients and key stakeholders
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Proficiency in the use of SAP
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and can-do attitude
- SME (subject matter expert) in preparing technical standards and best practice documents to improve operational efficiencies
- Demonstrated experience in Commercial/Contract Analytics and/or Contracts support role, ideally within the Utilities industry
