As part of our Group Finance team, you’ll contribute to the integrity and transparency of our financial reporting—helping us deliver trusted insights that shape the future of energy.
We’re looking for a curious, detail-focused and forward-thinking Senior Financial Accountant to bring technical excellence and analytical strength to our Financial Reporting & Controls function.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this key role, you’ll support the Group Reporting & Controls Manager across a range of complex and high-impact accounting processes, including:
- Lease accounting
- Share based payments
- Provisions
- Cost allocations
- Segment reporting
- Tax-effect accounting
You will also:
- Prepare high-quality technical accounting advice for the broader finance team and business stakeholders
- Produce financial statements, month end deliverables and detailed analytical reviews
- Respond to internal and external audit queries and project manager the audit process
- Contributing to Board and Audit Committee reporting
- Support due diligence procedures and internal controls for Group reporting
- Ensure financial integrity through strong governance and controls.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Treasury Accountant on settlement execution

About You
You’re an accounting professional who brings both depth and curiosity. You ask smart questions, simplify complexity, and enjoy working with others to build strong, trusted outcomes.
You’ll also bring:
- CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it
- Minimum 3 years’ experience having worked in audit at Big 4 or relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and experience across the full suite of financial accounting tasks
- A track record of delivering accurate, high-quality reporting
- SAP ERP experience (preferred but not essential)
- Advanced Excel and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication, analytical and time management skills
