Being in a business support role at Australia Post means helping our people deliver for every Australian. Just like our Posties, you’re still the people behind every parcel. Whatever your team or role, you’re helping grow our people, grow our business and making a lasting impact on the Australian community. You’ll find a culture of connection in our great people and the flexibility to balance work with life outside of it.

About the opportunity

This 12-month Fixed Term Contract is for someone to come and join our team as our Delivery Platform Analyst (Atlassian suite), you’ll help shape how teams across Australia Post use our enterprise delivery platforms to plan, manage and deliver their work.

Reporting to the Delivery Platform Manager, you’ll take ownership of our Atlassian front door, triaging requests from across the business, managing the backlog and translating business needs into practical platform solutions. You’ll get hands-on configuring and improving Jira and Confluence, while identifying opportunities to use automation and AI to simplify processes and improve the experience for our users

You’ll also

  • Own and triage platform requests, manage priorities and act as a key point of contact for teams across the business.

  • Configure and administer Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Product Discovery and Confluence, including workflows, permissions, forms, spaces, templates and automation.
  • Identify repeatable support requests and opportunities to use automation and AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual effort and improve self-service.

  • Create knowledge articles, user guides and resources, while supporting platform adoption, governance and continuous improvement.

About you

You’re a curious, customer-focused platform professional who enjoys understanding what people need and turning those requirements into practical solutions. You’re comfortable balancing competing priorities, solving problems and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Most importantly, you’ll bring an improvement mindset and genuine interest in finding smarter ways of working through automation, AI and emerging platform capabilities.

You’ll also

  • Have hands-on administration or advanced support experience across Atlassian Cloud, particularly Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence.

  • Bring experience configuring workflows, permissions, schemes, request types, forms, templates, spaces, integrations and automation within an Atlassian environment.

  • Have experience supporting enterprise SaaS platforms, with strong troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.

  • Experience with Jira Product Discovery, Atlassian Analytics, Atlassian AI, Rovo, Miro or Microsoft Power Automate will be highly regarded.

What else is in it for you?

  • Work hands-on with enterprise Atlassian platforms, shaping how teams use Jira, Confluence and other delivery tools to get work done.

  • Explore automation and emerging AI capabilities, finding smarter ways to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and improve the user experience.

  • Make an impact at scale, improving the platforms, tools and ways of working used by teams across Australia Post.
  • Bring your whole self to work every day and be met by a welcoming bunch of people who respect and support you
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, like the opportunity to work from home two days per week
  • Opportunities for growth and development through formal programs or mentorship
  • Exclusive team member discounts and offers for more cash in your pocket, evolving policies for flexible working, leave types and access to health and wellbeing resources

All walks, one route

It takes a lot of us to deliver for every Australian – and it’s important to us that our people behind the parcels reflect the people receiving them. We come from all walks. Different backgrounds, different ages, different genders, different sexualities and different abilities, but we all believe in the same purpose.

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us. If you’ve got questions about accessibility, reach out to our Diversity & Inclusion team at inclusivecareers@auspost.com.au or on 03 8737 9415.
