📦 About the Opportunity
With e-commerce continuing to grow, we're looking for a reliable and motivated Freight Handler to join our hardworking StarTrack, Yandina based team.
You'll help keep freight moving by ensuring freight is unloaded and processed accurately so our customers receive their deliveries quickly and safely.
This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday and pays $34.83/hr + 13% super and overtime rates. In addition, leave loading is added to accrued leave taken.
👊 What You'll Be Doing
- Loading parcels and cartons from conveyor systems into delivery vehicles
- Unloading returning vehicles and sorting freight
- Wrapping and securing freight using shrink-wrap equipment
- Scanning parcels and updating freight documentation
- Working with the team to keep operations running smoothly
- Delivering great service through a strong work ethic and positive attitude
💪 About You
You're someone who:
- Enjoys physically active work and can repeatedly lift up to 30kg
- Stays focused and attentive, even during repetitive tasks
- Works well as part of a team and is happy to roll up your sleeves
- Is committed to safety and looking out for your teammates
- Has a forklift licence (highly regarded, but not essential)
