Senior Project Manager | HCM Transformation | Fixed-Term Contract 12 months

Lead a complex, enterprise-wide HCM transformation and help shape how our people experience technology at Australia Post.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a key HCM workstream within a significant enterprise transformation.

This is a hands-on senior delivery role where you’ll operate across the big picture and the detail. You’ll bring together People & Culture, Enterprise Services, architecture, security, data, integration, vendors and operational teams to turn a complex program of work into clear, coordinated delivery.

As we mobilise, you’ll be comfortable moving between program-level leadership and detailed project execution, creating structure, driving decisions and keeping delivery moving.

What you’ll deliver

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex HCM workstream, navigating multiple dependencies, delivery teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Bring together teams across People & Culture, Enterprise Services, architecture, security, integration, data, operations and external vendors.
  • Establish strong delivery rhythms, governance and accountability from mobilisation through to implementation.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, decisions, controls and operational readiness, rather than simply reporting on them.
  • Turn complexity into clear priorities, actions and outcomes, keeping senior stakeholders informed and delivery teams aligned.
  • Get into the detail when needed, removing roadblocks and helping teams maintain momentum.

What you’ll bring

You’re a seasoned Project Manager who is equally comfortable around a senior stakeholder table as you are working through the detail with delivery teams.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience leading large, complex enterprise technology projects or transformation programs.
  • HCM or HR technology experience, ideally across SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR or a comparable enterprise HR environment.
  • A strong understanding of what it takes to mobilise and deliver projects across highly interconnected enterprise environments.
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management and orchestration skills.
  • Strong governance, risk and dependency management capability.
  • A proactive delivery mindset. You identify what needs to happen next, bring the right people together and drive it through to resolution.

Why this role?

This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact transformation at Australia Post, working across technology and People & Culture on a program that will influence how our people are supported and enabled.

If you enjoy complex transformation, senior stakeholder engagement and bringing structure and momentum to challenging enterprise delivery, we’d love to hear from you.

Ready to lead something significant? Apply now.

What else is in it for you? .

  • Bring your whole self to work every day and be met by a welcoming bunch of people who respect and support you
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements, like the opportunity to work from home two days per week
  • Opportunities for growth and development through formal programs or mentorship
  • Exclusive team member discounts and offers for more cash in your pocket, evolving policies for flexible working, leave types and access to health and wellbeing resources

All walks, one route

We welcome people all ages, genders and backgrounds – including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, LGBTQIA+ communities, and refugees. We’re a Disability Confident Recruiter, committed to making our hiring process and workplace inclusive and barrier-free. We’re also working hard to remove bias and build a gender-equitable experience for everyone who joins us.
