Australia Post is delivering like never before. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
About the opportunity
We’re looking for an Offsite Supervisor to join our vibrant team. This role will see you overseeing day-to-day operations at shopping hubs and customer sites (implants), ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine. You’ll be a leader, a problem solver, and the vital link between our teams, management, and customers.
You’ll be responsible for driving operational efficiency, improving customer experience, and managing a variety of teams in the field. Whether it's ensuring service delivery, managing performance, or fostering relationships, you’ll be the one keeping everything moving smoothly.
What you’ll deliver with us
As an Offsite Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and manage teams: Oversee and guide both on-site and remote teams, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Operational Excellence: Identify challenges, resolve issues, and continuously improve operational workflows to meet performance and service standards.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Maintain and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams, ensuring we meet service expectations and deliver on our KPIs.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct analysis and provide insights to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
About you
You’re a problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for operational excellence. You excel in leading teams and are highly adaptable to fluctuating demands. Whether it’s interpreting data or handling complex operational issues, you thrive on making decisions that drive improvements and enhance the customer experience.
Your ability to build strong relationships, both with your team and with key stakeholders, is second to none. You’re a natural communicator who understands that clear communication and collaboration are key to achieving results.
You’ll also need
- Experience in operations (preferably in logistics or related fields).
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and propose improvements.
- Leadership experience: Proven ability to manage teams and drive operational results.
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles (preferred but not essential).
- Strong interpersonal skills: Able to work with multiple stakeholders and lead teams across various locations.
