Help us deliver a better tomorrow
Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

About the opportunity

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the Portfolio Orchestration Lead provides enterprise‑wide leadership across complex, multi‑year transformation portfolios, ensuring alignment to strategy and delivery of tangible business outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of the Orchestration Office, the role drives effective portfolio planning, integrated roadmaps, coordinated delivery, and the adoption of appropriate practices and mindset to accelerate change across the organisation.

What you’ll deliver with us

  • Act as a principal advisor and coach to senior leaders, executives, and delivery teams, building enterprise-wide capability in business agility, transformation delivery, and change leadership.
  • Work with program sponsors, transformation leaders, and delivery teams. Lead the design, sequencing, and prioritisation of transformation initiatives, directly influencing executive decision-making and enterprise investment allocation.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-program forums, steering committees, and executive workshops to resolve interdependencies, manage risks, and accelerate value realisation.
  • Drive the adoption and scaling of contemporary delivery practices (Lean, Agile, hybrid) across the enterprise, tailoring frameworks to organisational context and maturity.

About you

You’re a trusted and influential leader who people naturally turn to for guidance and support. Comfortable engaging with Executive General Managers, senior stakeholders, and delivery teams alike, you can challenge constructively and collaborate effectively to drive outcomes. You bring proven experience leading and delivering complex, multi‑year transformation programs within large, dynamic organisations, with strong capability across traditional, lean and agile ways of working and a passion for helping teams deliver change faster and better.

You’ll also need

  • Relevant certifications in Lean, Agile, Business Agility, Change Management or Program Delivery (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Prosci, MSP, PMO or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated experience applying and blending Lean, Agile, and traditional delivery approaches, tailoring methods pragmatically to meet program objectives and organisational context.
  • Proven track record uplifting delivery capability in others, including leading training, coaching, and introducing new delivery and Ways of Working (WoW) practices
  • Demonstrated capability as an enterprise-level coach, able to operate fluidly from the executive level through to teams on the ground

How we’ll deliver for you

  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They’re the TIES that bind our team together.
  • You’ll work alongside inspiring leaders who are deeply committed to developing talent, making it a great place to grow your career.
  • We offer a great range of benefits, including a focus on work-life balance & flexibility, career development opportunities, and exclusive discounts through our Post Perks program.
