Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager Reputation & Corporate Affairs, the Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for supporting and promoting the Fund's positioning. This will involve responsibility for the development and management of the Fund's narratives, key messages communication strategies and corporate reporting in a way that enhances AustralianSuper's reputation.

The Corporate Communications Manager will be AustralianSuper's go-to source for corporate messaging on a wide range of topics and issues. You will work closely with other members of Corporate Affairs and broadly across the Fund to ensure AustralianSuper's corporate communications are timely, accurate, engaging and consistent. Key responsibilities include;

- Create and implement corporate communications including strategies, plans, messages, speaking notes, briefings, external and internal communications

- Provide strategic advice to colleagues across the fund on reputational impacts, with respect to positioning and messaging and its application to a wide range of communications

- Manage projects to support positioning AustralianSuper as an industry leader including corporate information and corporate reporting (e.g. Annual Reports, sustainability reporting, web content, policies, and other corporate communications)

- Play a key role in the Crisis Communications Team including ensuring its ready state

- Position the corporate communication function as the go-to source of corporate messaging

What you'll need

- Strong experience within the field of corporate communications

- Experience within Financial Services and/or a corporate environment

- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a capability to adapt to the nuances of each topic, situation and different audiences

- Proven skills in corporate reporting and building strategic key messages to enhance the reputation of an organisation

- Excellent crisis and issues management communications experience

- Complex project management experience with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow in, at times, a fast paced and issues-rich environment

- Excellent organisation skills with an ability to manage conflicting deadlines
