Role Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Practitioner Project Manager – Support System Delivery to join the Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP) on a permanent, full-time basis.
The preferred location is Melbourne, but we are flexible with the location for the right candidate.
Reporting to the Support System Delivery Manager, the Practitioner Project Manager will provide Project Management support to the Support System Delivery organisation with action and task prioritisation, including coordination of these tasks through to closure to completion.

Core Duties:

• Responsible to the Support Delivery Manger for the coordination of activities relating to major program reviews, including Mandated System Reviews, HCF Assurance Reviews, Internal Reviews including Lifecycle Management (LCM) Reviews
• Initiate and lead process improvement initiatives to test and deliver efficiencies to the HCFP Support System activities
• Support the development of metrics for reporting to both internal and external senior and/or executive management forums
• Responsible to the Support Delivery Manager for communicating Support System Delivery organisation information, position and strategies across multiple stakeholders including large and diverse teams

About You

• Familiarity and experience using identified tools and systems, providing high level of auditability, traceability and cross system data integration necessary for complex programs
• Proficiency in the use of Jira, Tableau and Windchill or equivalent PLC Management / CM tools
• Specific PM qualifications are not mandatory, but any Technical/PM qualifications are highly desirable
• Experience in summarising and reporting in support of plan, progress and key points of interest appropriate to the intended forum.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage across diverse stakeholders
• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
• Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
