Role Description: As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules to meet customer demand while balancing capacity, material availability and specific project targets. The role works closely with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality teams to ensure on time delivery and efficient manufacturing performance. Core Duties: * Develop and manage production plans, work orders and job cards in accordance with established planning processes. * Utilise the Material Resource Planning (MRP) system to schedule work and maintain efficient production flow in line with demand and inventory requirements. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate and execute the production schedule effectively. * Coordinate material availability with Supply Chain teams. * Track, analyse, and report on production schedule progress and performance including identifying and resolving planning issues, shortages and capacity constraints. * Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, system performance, and data quality to enhance operational efficiency. Essential Skills: * Proven experience in a production planning or scheduling role. * Strong understanding of MRP systems, Bill of Material (BOM) and Routes. * Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. * Competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. * Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines. * Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain. * Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations.
