The Technical Support Officer will be accountable for providing technical support to the Nulka Round Assembly Facility (NRAF) in accordance with the contractual and company requirements in order to achieve the required business performance. This will involve providing input into the implementation of systems and equipment, acceptance testing and maintaining the system and equipment against technical requirements.
In terms of more specific responsibilities, you will:
- Undertake electronics testing of Nulka product and sub-assemblies
- Be involved in testing and inspection of subcontracted components
- Assist in the development of procedures/instructions and reports
- Assist Site lead with site physical security including some call out duties
- Undertake EDC maintenance and administrative duties
- Be responsible for calibration and tooling coordination
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and quality assurance
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will have:
- A qualification as a Technician (or higher qualification) or equivalent experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision within a small team
- Manual assembly skills
- Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office
- A manual drivers licence
A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
A White Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) is required for this role and applicants must meet ASIC eligibility requirements in order to obtain and maintain this clearance.
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
