About the Opportunity
The purpose of this role is to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineering support to the Projects and Products within the Air Ground Air Transition (AGAT) Program. ILS Engineering is required for Project and Product acquisition phases and is to continue into the Support and Sustainment phase
The preferred location is Sydney, NSW. But we are flexible to consider applicants from Melbourne and Adelaide as well as this role can be performed from our Melbourne and Adelaide sites
Reporting to the ILS Manager, you will:

Derive support solution requirements, define the test requirements and participate in design and requirements reviews

Develop candidate support solutions against requirements including their optimisation and present the solution in design reviews

Undertake functional analysis to identify the optimum support solution against a set of requirements
-
Undertake qualification activities and analysis of results. Also includes contributing to the qualification plans and reports.

Undertake product change management and quality control processes.

Utilise design capture and analysis tools effectively to produce high quality designs and products including interpretation of analysis results

Responsible for production of specified Logistic & Support Engineering information within the format and schedule required by the Project.

Undertake ILS analyses in accordance with defined standards and practices and customer requirements including:

Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM),
-
Logistics Support Analysis (LSA),
-
Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and
-
Provisioning analysis.
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Experience of ILS practice in a Australian Defence environment or commercial sector and prior experience in delivering the following ILS Analyses to Australian Defence standards or applicable industry standards (Preferable)
- An understanding of the ILS lifecycle from input to design to disposal
- An understanding of the Engineering Development lifecycle
- Relevant experience in the use of Configuration and Change Management principles and tools
