We currently have an exciting opportunity for multiple Mechanical Fitters to join our maritime sustainment program based in Henderson, WA. The position will initially be a 8 month fixed-term contract with opportunity for a long-term position. The role will focus primarily on pressure testing but will require other mechanical maintenance duties.

Your new role:
As a Mechanical Fitter at BAE Systems, your duties will be;

  • Mechanical maintenance on the Anzac Class Navy Frigates
  • Pressure testing
  • Other Mechanical duties as required

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you will need the following:

  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Previous Mechanical experience
  • Marine experience desirable
  • Pressure Testing experience
  • Confined Space
  • Ability to work autonomously or part of a team
  • An excellent attitude towards safety
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen
