We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer within our Central Finance Team located in Adelaide, SA. This opportunity will be offered on a fixed term capacity with an end date of Dec 2023.

Your new role:
Accountable to the Finance Manager you will support the Central finance team with the follow core activities:

  • Effective and efficient review of source documentation for cost data to identify unallowable costs
  • Assess allowability of costs incurred in indirect pools based on predetermined criteria
  • Use Oracle ERP system for the review of source documentation
  • Discuss and understand cost data with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepartion of timely journals
  • Manage communications to stakeholders impacted by segregation
  • Weekly reporting to the Cost Review team on volume of costs reviewed and/or other metrics as deemed appropriate
  • Identify and report on trends in costs incurred within specific programs of work

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated finance experience
  • Proven experience and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience and knowledge of Oracle will be highly regarded
  • Degree or Diploma qualified
  • Highly computer literacy with the MS Suite of products particular MS Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fantatastic positive can do attitude
  • Ability and desire to learn and adapt
