Your new role:
As the Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting the BAE Systems Australia SHE Team in the delivery of SHE services and objectives through accurate data input, monitoring and analysis, coordination and collation of information and data, report preparation, document control of the SHE Management System, development and ongoing management of SHE resources.
This opportunity will see you:
- Coordinate, format and draft content for internal reports within timeframes.
- Support members of the SHE team as agreed with manager with administration tasks, such as preparing program level reports, organising travel & processing expenses.
- Generally support the SHE team delivering the SHE program.
- Provide assistance to the Health & Wellbeing program.
- Undertake/ participate in projects to support SHE initiatives.
- Actively participate in BAE Systems Australia SHE and Health & Wellbeing programs to ensure they are successfully delivered.
- Development and updates to documents in the Business Management System (BMS).
About you
As an ideal applicant for this role, you'll have:
- Australian citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (essential).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience in similar role.
- Interest in Work, Health, Safety and Environmental (WHSE) coordination or experience in (advantage).
- Accurate data entry skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Some knowledge of WHSE legislative requirements as deployed in a maintenance and construction environment, or similar industry.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and Power Point.

Clearances
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
