Your new role:
- Assist in the preparation and provision of information to enable the production of replies to requests for tender or quotations
- Assist in the development and/or preparation of accurate documentation including test procedures and reports
- Administer defect analysis, resolution and provision of detailed Technical Reports
- Provide input to planning and maintenance of schedules
- Be available to undertake off-site installation or training deployments
- Participate in bids/RFT/quotations for selected Communications Works and Projects
- Provide and update plans and schedules
- Implement Quality Procedures during delegated projects
- Design input for selected minor projects
- Be available for rotational callout duties
- Be actively participating in problem solving teams, contributing to system improvement
- Working under supervision, manage own time to address competing task priorities, ensuring all tasking is completed in accordance with assigned budget, schedule and priority
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholder groups raising issues to relevant stakeholder(s) in an objective, professional and timely manner
About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- A relevant qualification in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics
- A trade background preferable
- Extensive technical knowledge in the use of specialised test equipment and tools
- Sound fault finding techniques with the ability to diagnose and rectify complex technical problems
- MK45 weapons technician experience highly regarded

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
