Your new role:

• Assist in the preparation and provision of information to enable the production of replies to requests for tender or quotations
• Assist in the development and/or preparation of accurate documentation including test procedures and reports
• Administer defect analysis, resolution and provision of detailed Technical Reports
• Provide input to planning and maintenance of schedules
• Be available to undertake off-site installation or training deployments
• Participate in bids/RFT/quotations for selected Communications Works and Projects
• Provide and update plans and schedules
• Implement Quality Procedures during delegated projects
• Design input for selected minor projects
• Be available for rotational callout duties
• Be actively participating in problem solving teams, contributing to system improvement
• Working under supervision, manage own time to address competing task priorities, ensuring all tasking is completed in accordance with assigned budget, schedule and priority
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholder groups raising issues to relevant stakeholder(s) in an objective, professional and timely manner

About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

• A relevant qualification in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Hydraulics
• A trade background preferable
• Extensive technical knowledge in the use of specialised test equipment and tools
• Sound fault finding techniques with the ability to diagnose and rectify complex technical problems
• MK45 weapons technician experience highly regarded

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
