We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Security Lead – Security Governance and Assurance within our Central Functions business. Location of this role is flexible.

Your new role:
The Security Lead – Security Governance and Assurance is responsible for contributing to the Security Function in delivering all aspects of security, development, implementation, monitoring and security reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, interpreting and applying business and Commonwealth policy
- Leading Security Governance and Assurance activities
- Contributing to the maintenance of the business security program and obligations
- Contributing to the design and delivery of learning and development programs
About you:
As an ideal applicant, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience in security governance and assurance and security risk management
- Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth policy in relation to Defence and Defence Industry
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Excellent writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (JIRA platform experience desirable)
- A current Defence security clearance
