Your new role:
Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to provide mechatronics engineering services that are accurate, safe and to approve standards for the development or modifications of mechatronics equipment, systems and/or materials including overseeing technical interface with broader engineering team, production, and sustainment, procurement personal and external suppliers.
About you
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- A University degree level engineering qualification preferably within a System, Electronic, Robotic or Mechatronics discipline (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated engineering experience in developing mechatronics design, participation in design reviews and undertaking design analysis and implementation of solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skill with an ability to effectively and technically communicate with engineers and project management within the project
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to progressing all assigned task under limited supervision with an ability to function confidently within a fun project team environment

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
