Your new role:
Reporting to the Head of SHE (Safety Health & Environment), as the SHE Business Partner (Projects) this role is responsible for co-ordinating/ leading improvement programs across all aspects of SHE within BAE Systems Australia.
In this role, you will collaborate with all stakeholders across the business, to influence, implement and embed SHE projects, and develop, project manage and implement SHE programs aligned to the BAE Systems Australia business strategy.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver improvement initiatives that support BAE Systems Australia and the SHE strategy.
- Develop targeted improvement programs that contribute to improved SHE performance.
- Identify, develop and implement SHE projects that support sustainability and foster cultural improvement.
- Identify best practice programs internally and externally that can be adapted for implementation in BAE Systems Australia.
- Investigate, collaborate and facilitate engagement activities with key stakeholders to develop SHE Improvement Programs of work.
- Develop and share appropriate reports on progress of projects at various forums with business leaders.
- Effectively communicate to enable information sharing across BAE Systems Australia.
- Participate in continuous improvement and professional development.
- Develop & deliver SHE related training where required.
- Manage Enterprise projects such as the Safety Maturity Matrix (SMM) annual assessments.
About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Australian citizenship and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
- Tertiary Qualification in Safety or related discipline (essential).
- Experience in advocating and promoting SHE project initiatives in a complex business environment.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing projects, and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement skills at all levels.

Clearances:
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
