We currently have an opportunity as a Quality Document Controller within our Maritime Australiaprogrambased in the Osborne Shipyard in Adelaide.

Your new role:
BAE are responsible for the design and build of nine Hunter Class Frigates for the Royal Australian Navy. The Hunter Class Frigate Program will transform Australia's shipbuilding industry by supporting the building of sovereign naval shipbuilding capability.
Working as part of the team that provide support to the delivery of a broad range of planned quality activities the Quality Document Controller will assist with provision of quality records and practices are being effectively deployed across the project.
Key responsibilities for the role also include:

• Support with assurance activities associated with establishment and maintenance of all product quality records, ensuring traceability is maintained which support the “As Built Record” for all products manufactured
• Arrange meetings and take minutes at formal meetings, between stakeholders and BAE Systems Maritime Australia Quality Team members
• Support the Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Dimensional Control Manager in the establishment, management and maintenance of the Quality BMS documentation
• Support the Head of Quality, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Dimensional Control Manager in the establishment, management and maintenance of the Quality Right first Time metrics
• Support the Head of Quality and the Quality Assurance Manager in the generation of reports as required across the business.

About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

• Configuration Management background
• Demonstrated experience working as a Quality Document Controller
• Ability to operate across all levels of management
• Formal training in quality or equivalent experience in Quality related subjects
• Good computer literacy

As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearance.
