Your new role:
As the Operations Performance Project Manager, you'll be the designer behind ground-breaking and impactful initiatives that span the vast realm of Maritime Operations. You'll work hand-in-hand with stakeholders to identify opportunities using data to enhance business performance and propel it to new heights.
Your innovative ideas will be the driving force behind key business strategy improvement initiatives. You'll have the power to pinpoint areas of improvement and weakness, and use your creative insights to pave the way for a brighter future.
Your hard work and dedication will make a lasting impact on the Operational Strategy, ensuring that Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Environmental metrics are upheld for generations to come.
In more specific terms you will:
- Assist in the adoption of an established Operations system and lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance Safety, People, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Environmental metrics.
- Collaborate with the Operations Performance Team and other Hunter Operational groups to pinpoint opportunities for Continuous Improvement, devise process enhancements, and execute solutions using Project Management techniques or CI methodologies.
- Organise workshops and meetings to assess projects and concepts.
- Introduce CI solutions and prepare business cases for CI projects as necessary.
- Provide evidence and report tangible advantages and cost savings from executed projects in the monthly Operations Performance Report.
About you:
As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management an advocate for data and continuous improvement
- Expertise and credibility in working across business and functional boundaries
- Experience with communicating effectively with Senior and Executive Management Sponsors and stakeholders
- An existing Australian Defence Security Clearance or the ability to meet the application requirements.
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
