About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an excellent opportunity for an Information Manager to joing our team based in Adelaide.
The Information Manager is responsible for coordinating the enablement of information sharing between the UK and Australia in the mobilisation phase of the program, on behalf of the Head of Enablement.
As the program is established, early flows of information are constrained by Intellectual Property permissions, Export Control Licenses, and Security requirements. The purpose of the position is to act as a single point of contact in Australia for the coordination of all related issues as the program matures.
The position will work closely with Engineering colleagues as the program develops its approach to Document Management and Configuration Control. It is intended that the role will develop into this professional pathway as the program evolves. Additionally, the role will engage with the BAE UK team, ASC colleagues, and customer contacts to facilitate the management of information sharing and emerging requirements.
More specifically, you will:
- Act as a single point of contact and subject matter expert for Head of Enablement on Information Sharing in Australia
- Support to regular meetings with Enablement workstream lead on Information Sharing
- Coordination of Information Sharing issues and associated actions, in particular those assigned to Australian based stakeholders.
- Reporting on progress of information delivery, in particular receipt and in country availability of requested information
- Develop and execute plans to facilitate the need for information sharing in the mobilisation phase of the program
- Liaise with Commercial, Export Control and Security functions to maintain compliance with business process and policy
- Align and work closely with Engineering function to support the delivery of strategic plans for Document Management and Configuration Control
- Maintain relations with ASC, ASA and other third parties as necessary to resolve information sharing constraints
About YOU
- Tertiary qualifications in project management – such as an bachelor degree or advanced diploma in project management or similar
- Previous experience in a document management or configuration control role on a major acquisition program
- Self-motivation, a willingness to learn and a strong understanding of safe work practices
- Good communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
