What you’ll do:
At Bain, Senior Managers, serve as managers for both case teams and clients. As part of the transition to firm management, the learning curve for managers is steep. You'll learn to view entire fields, refine your general management skills, drive business results and build the firm's assets.
You’ll take responsibility for cracking clients' toughest problems and presenting insights in a compelling way that convinces the client to take action. In order to succeed, you will learn to cultivate talented groups of people and collaborate with multiple teams.
Internally, senior managers have an advisory seat and a voice at the management table; you'll play a pivotal role in the office as you fulfill various management roles, increase practice-area expertise, intensify Bain's positive social impact, coordinate training, aligning professional standards and support associate consultants and consultant with their career planning.

About you:
We recruit talented and experienced Consulting professionals for our Senior Manager position, ideally with:
- At least ten years’ work experience with functional expertise in consulting and a strong track record from a previous consulting firm.
- A robust diagnostic skillset and demonstrated problem solving capability
- Ability to exercise business judgement, to communicate persuasive conclusions and insights, and to build client relationships
- Ability to effectively supervise/manage team members
- Ability to meet deadlines, often within very tight timeframes
- Ability to serve a full range of client assignments
- Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are important
- MBA from a top business school preferred, but not essential
