About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Senior Analyst in our IDAM function during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with integrity and empathy by supporting our IDAM ecosystem through enforcement of policies, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for enforcing IDAM policies and using technical IDAM experience to apply governance practices to ensure BOQ Groups IDAM platform is effective. We will teach you the IDAM principles, however you will need to have the organisation and integrity to get things done quickly. You will further lead the analysis of identity data to support and implement pre-approved access, role-based access, and segregation of duties.

A large portion of this role will be centred around acting as a bridge between technical teams and the end users. This includes documenting and maintaining process maps and associated artefacts in order to facilitate current and target state assessments, partnering with application owners to support their development (and maintenance) of detailed and effective application access models, and defining and setting processes, policies, and standards to maintain IDAM within the business. You will effectively elicit business requirements and translate into functional and technical specifications as well as analyse, design and develop creative solutions for quality outcomes.

Furthermore, you will facilitate meetings and workshops as a liaison between internal/external teams, educate BOQ Group staff on the governance guidelines and expectations and provide consulting services for projects pertaining to Identity and Access Management.

This is a challenging and exciting role with a wide range of technical development opportunities and a variety of training to assist in your career development. BOQ Group has invested heavily in cutting-edge security tools to respond to the dynamic global security landscape and support our business' long-term objectives.

About you

Having 5-8 years experience in providing technical analysis services to a similar organisation, you will have the ability to apply principles to help enable the business to ensure fast and effective identity management. These IDAM principles will be taught to you. You will also have strong process improvement and project management skills gained through IT applications and operations experience. Similar experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst, Test Analyst and Project Coordinator will be looked upon favourably.

Naturally, you will inhibit impressive collaboration skills within cross-functional teams, demonstrating exceptional communication skills. You enjoy proactively communicating with the business to bridge the gap between technical analysis, being a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills supported by a technical background.

Experience with SailPoint, OKTA, CyberArk and Active Directory preferred. Knowledge of known industry frameworks and regulations such as NIST, ISO, Privacy, PCI-DSS and APRA a strong advantage. However, if you don't have this knowledge we will teach you all the aforementioned and assist in your upskilling.

Working for us is fun and fast-paced, and we need top talent to take us where we want to go. BOQ Group people are easy to spot.
