About the Role

As a Process Engineer, you will use technical information to identify improvements and efficiencies that will benefit our customers and community. With a systematic approach and attention to detail, you will apply best practice and drive continuous improvements in processes and protocols.
You will thrive with solving operational challenges by working with a multi-disciplinary team, to analyse, identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within infrastructure across the region.

About You
Process engineers apply knowledge gathered through university studies in an innovative way to help solve some of the more complex problems faced at Barwon Water. The work you do will continue our journey to achieve our Strategy 2030 ambitions to deliver innovative and reliable services, a healthier environment and trust, value and affordability for our customers.
A problem solver, you’ll be data driven, and blend this expertise with an innovative approach to complex problem solving, identifying opportunities with a real drive for results. You will be motivated by making a difference to our customers and collaborating with a range of stakeholders to deliver results.
With your solution-focussed approach, you’ll balance your technical skills while making the most of your natural communications skills, liaising and negotiating with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
Your qualifications in science or engineering will be challenged as you bring creative solutions to complex problems. Preferably with an interest in water and wastewater systems, we can offer you the career with the environmental focus that you have been looking for.
