About the role
The Fleet Coordinator has responsibility for managing a wide range of fleet services to the organisation. In this role you will ensure the fleet is” right sized” and meets our commitment towards zero emissions through strategic fleet management and advice.
You will maintain and manage Barwon Water’s vehicle fleet effectively and in line with industry standards. By maximising the program through cost efficiencies and allocations, the work you do will have a direct impact on Barwon Water’s customer base.
Based out of the Barwon Asset Solutions head office in Breakwater, you will manage external relationships with our fleet providers, develop documentation, support process improvements and bring influence to others through your expert knowledge.
About you
You are comfortable and experienced in managing fleet across a broad business. Through your engaging personality and natural communication style, you will be influence to internal and external stakeholders. You are motivated by continuous improvement and by seeking new ways to approach problems; your innovation will know no bounds.
As the Fleet Co-Ordinator you are an adept problem solver and able to think on your feet. You can take decisive action but understand quality, compliance and health and safety will always be at the forefront; there are no short cuts working in a community centric organisation.
This role will test your practical experience as well as your qualifications in customer service, but your creativity will underpin your success. As this role requires travel across Barwon Water, a Victorian drivers will be required.
