About the role
As the Senior Water Resources Planner, you’ll be passionate about water and its connection to our community.
You’re the key team member responsible for leading complex multi-disciplinary projects involving significant community and stakeholder engagement to support the delivery of Barwon Water’s Strategy 2030.
In this role, you’ll provide strategic advice, undertake routine water resource modelling, manage high profile projects and actively participate in community events.
You will need to navigate different viewpoints and be comfortable with ambiguity to ultimately be a subject matter expert that the business can rely on.
About you
You have demonstrated leadership in managing complex multi-disciplinary projects and a proven track record engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including customers and community.
You thrive making the most of your natural communications skills and can translate technical concepts your stakeholders can easily understand to drive successful outcomes for our region.
You also see the big picture by supporting the development of critical water resource strategies. You have strong analytical skills, with a passion for problem solving and thinking outside the box.
Your qualifications in science / engineering or similar may support your application.
You will enjoy working as part of a bigger team in a supportive and collaborative environment.
