About the role
You will play a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and optimization of innovative infrastructure solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies that drive the future of network systems.
As the Senior Project Manager Digital Metering you will manage the roll out of digital meters and IoT devices across our service area, working closely with consultants, contractors, community stakeholders and internal decision makers as the Smart Networks program begins an exciting new phase. You will collaborate with skill and seek subject matter experts to help bring the project to life.
This program of works is crucial to our Strategy 2030, one that will guide how our network operates and allows Barwon Water to continue to provide secure water services into the future.
About you
Leveraging your project management expertise, as you deliver project excellence across the smart networks initiatives. You will work closely with broad stakeholders, championing smart networks across Barwon Water and implement advanced solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
With a keen interest in emerging technologies, a strong understanding of contemporary project management methodologies, you thrive provide solutions to complex problems in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be autonomous in this role and seek external resources to help guide the way.
Your qualifications in project management, engineering or a similar discipline will be supported by theoretical and practical experience in project delivery and management in water infrastructure programs. Prior utility metering experience is highly desirable. You will be an excellent communicator who exhibits sound commercial reasoning, with a track record of delivering projects safely, on budget and time.
You will have a passion for transformative programs and enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems as you create significant impact for the community.
