Formula for Success
As Commercial Planning Business Analyst you’ll support BASF’s Agricultural Solutions business in ANZ by combining strategic sales planning with data-driven analytics. This role coordinates national sales plans, forecasts demand and delivers insights that align operations with agronomic cycles and market needs - driving efficiency, responsiveness, and sales performance.
You’ll:
- Lead territory-level demand planning and support the annual budgeting process.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers, Key Account Managers (KAMs), Marketing, and Supply Chain to align supply with demand and support seasonal programs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor sales performance.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and program effectiveness to inform strategy.
- Track and communicate sales performance against targets.
- Coordinate long-range market forecasting and trend analysis.
Ingredients for Success
To be successful in this role, you’ll have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources. You’ll be a natural communicator, able to engage and influence stakeholders of various levels, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.
You’ll:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Bring experience in commercial analytics or sales planning
- Display advanced data analysis and visualisation (Excel, Power BI) skills
- Be highly diligent with excellent attention to detail and data integrity
- Understanding of agribusiness and agricultural cycles will be beneficial
