With great progression, career development opportunities and the chance to work with the latest technology, a normal day in the role of the Content Marketing Specialist includes:
- Assisting with the management of the content calendar, both sport and proposition related
- Curating and creating industry leading content for promotion across all our owned channels
- Supporting the development of Betfair’s new content strategy, playing a leading role in embedding it across the business and all customer touchpoints
- Assisting with managing Betfair’s social platform and the publishing of Betfair’s content site
- Executing best practice Search Engine Optimization with industry leading tools
- Creating thorough briefs for the Internal Agency team to meet business needs
- Reviewing, editing and uploading content to the Betfair Hub to meet set timelines
- Working closely with the in-house development team to ensure stability of widget platform and propose improvements
- Promoting, managing and protecting the Betfair brand, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, ensuring all content is in line with Betfair brand guidelines
- Sub-editing content delivered by Betfair’s leading content contributors
- Communicating with 3rd party suppliers; sourcing, engaging, negotiating deals and contracts
- Assisting external relationships/content partnerships with media partners such as SEN, Racing.com etc
- Assisting the broader marketing team with copywriting and paid strategies
- Strong demonstrated experience within a similar position
- Track record of tailoring content to specific audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Word suite and Adobe Photoshop
- Previous hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS
- Social media expertise across multiple channels
- Proficient copywriting and editing skills
- A genuine connector, internally with colleagues, but external suppliers
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including some weekends
- A passion for sport and content
- Strong understanding of the wagering landscape
- You like hanging out with and being part of a team

- Strong demonstrated experience within a similar position
- Track record of tailoring content to specific audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Word suite and Adobe Photoshop
- Previous hands-on experience with WordPress or similar CMS
