About the Role
We are seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented Category Specialist to join our team at BGIS. In this role, you will be responsible facilitating sourcing projects (tendering and contracting), internal & external stakeholder management, and Planned Preventative Maintenance PO Issuance
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement financial accountability ensuring services are procured cost‑effectively while meeting contractual service
- Cost optimisation analysis
- Procurement strategies for contracts, balancing preventative/comprehensive/non‑routine maintenance, scope of works, service levels, contract tenure, and commercial risk
- Tendering & contracting
- Planned preventative maintenance PO Issuance
- Procurement processes & policy best practice
- Subcontractor governance & compliance
- Customer & stakeholder management
About You
- Experience in subcontracting and/or facilities management, preferably within an outsourced services environment.
- Strong background in contract administration, reporting and systems/database management.
- Proven ability to analyse and report on property, facilities and financial data, including KPI performance.
- Sound financial capability including budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring.
- Good technical knowledge of Hard / Soft FM services, and relevant legislation and standards.
