  • Support coordination of shift activities and ensure smooth handover between teams
  • Provide coverage support for operational leadership during absence periods
  • Assist in ensuring work orders, permits, and contractor activities are completed safely and on time
  • Contribute to scheduling, tracking, and completion of planned and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to support service continuity
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, risk assessments, and regulatory requirements
  • Support accurate reporting across operational activity, incidents, and maintenance works

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Trade qualification or technical background in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or building services
  • Experience working in a 24/7 high-availability or critical environment
  • Strong understanding of building infrastructure systems (power, cooling, UPS, generators, etc.)
  • Experience working with operational procedures (MOPs, SOPs, EOPs)
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining focus on safety and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with operational systems/tools
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites if required

Desirable:

  • Experience in data centre or highly regulated technical environments
  • Exposure to CMMS or facility management systems
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks and safety systems
  • Experience supporting or mentoring technical team members
