The Role
The Building and Compliance Inspector (Estate Appraisal Surveyor) is responsible for assessing the integrity, functionality and compliance of estate elements including buildings, infrastructure systems, equipment land spaces to be a safe, serviceable and in compliant condition.
This role is based in Williamtown, NSW
Due to the security clearance for this account to be successful, you must be an Australian Citizen.
- Assess the integrity, functionality and compliance of various asset types for the key client across multiple establishments in the area.
- Undertake physical inspections and desktop review activities on assets to compile all necessary condition and planning information into databases
- Conduct Annual Desktop reviews by presenting information gathered with the client to appropriately prioritise and plan future Estate project works
- Contribute and support financial efficiency objectives through intelligent asset lifecycle management activities
- Provide subject matter expertise in estate planning activities and implementation on estate management operations
Skills and Experience
- Diploma/Graduate Diploma or trade certificate in Facilities Management, Building Surveying, OHS, Project Management or Engineering
- Experience working in an integrated services and property modelling management systems
- Accredited NABERS assessor is desirable
- Accredited Green Star Professional is desireable
- Keen eye for detail
Experience within the defence industry, and a baseline security clearance would be well regarded.
