The Role
The purpose of the Remuneration & HR Analyst is to deliver HR data reporting and insights, support the remuneration and benefits programs and processes, maintain employee data to ensure the accuracy of reporting and proactively contribute to continuous improvements in employee practices that support the achievement of overall business plans and objectives.
The Remuneration & HR Analyst actively participates in the development, delivery and maintenance of the BGIS compensation plans including base pay, bonus plans and job evaluations. The role will coordinate the implementation of the annual remuneration review and bonus structure for the APAC region.
- Demonstrate strong modelling and analytical skills.
- Work closely with the Finance team during the annual merit review and OAIA process.
- Demonstrating excellent data analytics skills by sourcing data derived from various internal systems to develop and report on key HR trends and metrics.
- Providing overall oversight of HR reporting, including remuneration surveys, WGEA Reporting, people dashboards and metrics.
- Developing and maintaining actionable and proactive reports, metrics and scorecards that offer strategic insights for HR and functional leaders.
- Researching external and internal data to prepare benchmarks and communicate industry trends and best practices.
- Acting as the subject matter expert for all remuneration related matters, including job evaluations, external benchmarking, moderating internal equity, paying for performance, and remuneration approvals for all roles within the organisation.
- Preparation of remuneration recommendations for ad-hoc salary increases and promotions.
- End-to-end management of the annual remuneration review process, from business case preparation for budget allocation, recommendation of principles and approach, coaching HR business partners and functional managers to apply principles fairly and consistently, to communication and transaction of outcomes.
- Providing accurate information and reporting for any internal and external audits.
- Ensuring complete data integrity across the HR master data for all employees and ensuring employee data changes updated timely and in a controlled manner.
- Ensure data privacy assured for all employee Master data.
- Validate data accuracy by performing analysis and audit checks, as required. Support and coordinate specific SOX-related requirements as it pertains to the key controls within P&C.
- Support HRMS & People Services Manager with management of Oracle HR Management System where required
Skills & Experience
- High level of numerical skills, with a proven capability to research, analyse and interpret large sets of data and information.
- Expert attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build analytics tools such as remuneration modelling and HR dashboards.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including excellent consultation skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels in order to build positive and lasting business relationships.
- Excellent time management skills, including demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Proficient in desktop applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Advanced Excel skills – formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc
