The Role

As an Accountant you will be play an integral part in the corporate Finance team working to support the wider APAC business with financial accounting.

This role is based in Sydney CBD, NSW.

  • Manage financial processes including month-end tasks.
  • Ensure management, reporting and service delivery compliance with all client’s contractual obligations.
  • Full financial reporting on the client's account.
  • Effective management of the finance deliverables.
  • Preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
  • Effective management of the variation process.
  • Acting as the key contact for all the client's accounting matters.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Developing and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversee all client services policies, procedures, manuals, and performance reporting tools.
  • Provide finance support to the Account Operations team.
  • WHS&E policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.
  • General Office Administration Management. Records filing, general office duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Full compliance and consistency with the contract and BGIS services business systems.
  • Ensure all MIS/CMMS systems are maintained as current.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong organisational and communication skills and confident working with varied stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of accounting and finance function.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Business or similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated working experience in a similar Accounting and reporting role 3-4 years.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • Proficiency with Financial Reporting and Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Sound knowledge and experience with relevant legislation and policies standards and agreements.
