The responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include:
- Project management, systems and processes.
- Business support and development.
- Company and organisational support and development.
- Assist in estimating project scope and costs.
- Assist in preparing reports and data collection for analysis.
- Provide onsite assistance to management of projects.
- Manage projects with subcontractors.
- Update billing and cost schedules for client reporting and is on time and accurate.
- Assist the PM in managing and scheduling calendar appointments, email and mail.
- Review and distribute project documents.
- Prepare correspondence related to project.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in engineering.
- Experience in a project management role or related position.
- Strong organisational skills and ability multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
