Facilities Supervisor

About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Facilities Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across a key contract. This role plays a critical part in managing preventive and reactive maintenance, contractor performance and compliance — while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
You’ll be the first point of contact for the Building Management System (BMS) office, responsible for driving compliance with contractual terms, KPIs, and BGIS systems and standards.
🛡 Important: Due to the nature of this contract, Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and the successful applicant must either hold or be eligible to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Maintenance Operations: Manage the CMMS system, allocate and track work orders, supervise contractors, and ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks.
- Manage Financial Processes: Review and process invoices, assist with budgeting and accruals, and support contract financial reporting.
- Lead Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, manage service delivery, and maintain strong working relationships.
- Ensure HSEQ Compliance: Enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards; participate in audits and incident reporting.
- Provide Team Leadership: Promote collaboration within the onsite team and ensure performance and safety standards are met.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
- Background in facilities management, property services, or similar industry.
- Desirable experience with CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience or exposure to the supervision of subcontractors.
- Familiarity with OH&S, QA, and environmental systems desirable.
Qualifications
Desirable: Relevant trade qualification, TAFE or tertiary qualification in facilities management or similar industry.
