About the Role
Our Enterprise Mining Probabilistic (EMP) team is seeking a Superintendent Critical Path Project Management (CPPM) to lead a high-performing, technically driven team. Based at Goonyella Riverside and working an 8/6 roster, this role is responsible for integrating and optimising an enabling activity schedule, ensuring disruptions are effectively managed or removed to protect the critical path and support operational performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the enabling activity schedule, ensuring alignment and delivery across all site teams
- Act as an escalation point to align operational value chain objectives, manage variability and agree on execution plans
- Drive adherence to decision rights to enhance plan stability and execution discipline
- Apply the BHP Operating System and take accountability for the MIP/MOP process within CPPM
- Monitor and manage plan performance using PDCA cycle, escalation protocol and TARPs
- Guide project schedulers and managers in prioritising and allocating of resources to maintain critical path
- Oversee return to work packs and 24-hour plan approvals
