About the role
Reporting to the Head of Program Management Office for Minerals Australia Projects, this dynamic, fast-paced role sets the direction for the Portfolio Management function and provide leadership in identifying and driving the design, implementation and embedment of program-wide processes and procedures to ensure delivery of the optimised capital portfolio for Minerals Australia.
This position offers flexibility to be based in Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide with regular travel required.

Key accountabilities in this role will include:
- Managing the development and implementation of strategies such as standardisation of processes, system, replication and continuity of capital prioritisation across Australia;
- Recommending the optimal capital portfolio to the respective Asset Investment Committees working closely with various key stakeholders and project delivery groups;
- Managing a high-performing team to deliver the optimal capital portfolio proposal as well as analysis and reporting on compliance to the approved Australia capital portfolio;
- Leading a team that is responsible for the management of capital information and the system administration of it;
- Recommending changes of capital portfolio to the respective Asset Investment Review Committee through a quarterly prioritization process; and
- Spearheading the Continuous Improvement Process to ensure sound and appropriate processes delivering optimized capital to cover business risk.
About You
- Strong organizational skills to prioritise effectively working to tight deadlines;
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with a proven ability to engage various stakeholders, influence, challenge and build relationships;
- Attention to detail and ability to analyse data through statistical and predictive methods to deliver outcomes;
- Ability to apply consistently to a high standard in a range of business settings and scenarios;
- Proficiency in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities in governance frameworks to enhance effectiveness and efficiency;
- Successful in leading a team of professionals;
- Experience in full lifecycle project management across portfolios and programmes of work; and
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Finance or a related discipline.
