About the Role
This opportunity is located at our Peak Downs Mine. Peak Downs is owned and operated by BMA and is one of the world's largest open cut coal operations, producing 10Mtpa of hard coking coal.
We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Specialist Maintenance M1 Controller, reporting to the Reliability Superintendent. This is a predominantly an office based role coordinating and liaising with the maintenance supervisor, production supervisor, operators and mine control ensuring an excellent level of service.
This is a ground level opportunity to become part of the team that leads our maintenance into a proactive, defect elimination and condition monitoring phase.
This role is available on a DIDO or Residential basis, working a 7on, 7off, day/night rotating roster.

About You
- Entry level engineering degrees and trade backgrounds with well-developed fault finding experience considered
- Able to effectively communicate with stakeholders across a range of geographically dispersed teams
- Attention to detail and being able to deduce complex information
- Digital fluency and have an ability to use technology and understand systems such as SAP, VIMS, Minestar and Corvus
- Understand mining operations, processes and procedures
- Quick learner with a drive for continuous improvement and desire to learn
- A minimum of C class manual driver’s license (essential)
