Nickel West is a fully integrated mine-to-market business. Our culture is rich with technical know-how, highly efficient and focused on innovation. About the Role
At Nickel West you will find a diverse set of geotechnical challenges including deep, structural complex mines and deposits. We operate a range of mining methods that includes block caving, sub-level caving and bench stopping with paste fill through to large open pits. We are looking for motivated Geotechnical Engineers to support planning for the future of Nickel West.
This role will support the geotechnical design team through coordination of data capture programs, data management, geotechnical analysis and design for both underground and open pit.

About You
The successful candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Mining Engineering or similar. Other attributes will include:
- Experience with geotechnical engineering practice in a mining environment
- Proficient use of geotechnical stability analysis software
- Good report writing skills
