About the Role
The Execution Supervisor – Coal Mining, role is a leadership position within the Coal Mining Team. You would lead a crew of 30-40 people. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to continue to strengthen their leadership in this role with potential future opportunities to switch into other areas (ie Prestrip).
Your initial responsibilities
- Lead, coach and mentor a crew of operators to build a high performance team;
- Pursue continuous improvement with the team;
- Strong engagement with Production, Planning & Maintenance customers to ensure we deliver our plan;
- Fulfil your obligations as a Supervisor on a Coal Mine
As the successful candidate, you will have a combination of:
- Mine Site Experience (Ideally have ground skills)
- Supervisor Experience
- S1, S2, S3 & G2 Training
- Strong Communication Skills
- Improvement Mindset
The following skills would be preferred, but not essential:
- Coal Blending Experience
- Mine Planning Exposure
- Different Department Exposure
