About the Role
Reporting to the Manager of Identity, this role is to support BHP’s identity and access management strategy. The role is to work with various key stakeholders within our functions and operations to help drive identity standards, support our internal and external policies and provide key input and guidance to ensure our Identity landscape is aligned with industry standards.
In this role you will:
- Lead a team focused on the design, build & maintenance of high performing and resilient identity management services.
- Assist in the creation of an Identity strategy across all Identity platforms, programs, initiatives, and capabilities to align with BHP strategic and security goals
- Maintain a constructive and healthy relationship with our internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Provide technical guidance to a team in regard to security and access management, authentication & authorization services
- Provides business thought leadership and direction in relation to Identity Managementx
- Direct and manage a program of work relating to Identity Management
- Develop and maintain documentation and key input into roadmaps for Identity solutions
- Provide support and guidance to the team and leadership regarding escalated incidents
- Encourage and promote continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Customers, Stakeholders and Management
About You
- Experience in the delivery of Identity solutions. This should include designing, implementing, monitoring and supporting key platforms such as: Active Directory, Azure AD, Digital Certificates, Access Governance Platforms
- Hands-on technical experience in systems integration or software engineering of IAM & PAM solutions (AD on prem & cloud, Beyond Trust, CyberArk, Sail Point, Saviynt)
- Experience or exposure to User lifecycle management processes, workflows and technologies
- Collaborative mind-set and advanced interpersonal skills
- Highly capable of building constructive long-term relationships
- Ability to think laterally to independently resolve issues and influence change
- Autonomous, detail oriented, organised, and objective
- Identify risks and appropriate control options
- Exceptional communication and demonstrated experience building mutually sound and beneficial relationships across multiple groups of stakeholders
- Demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others
- STEM Bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
- Happy to work in a highly distributed team.
- Certification in identity, cybersecurity highly desirable
